I typed this into Word from the pad and copy/paste. This test is a failure.
Here is heading 1
This is from a document written in MS Word on the iPad. Here are some bullets:
• Bullet1
• Bullet2
Here is some red text.
Here is some bold text.
Here is some italic text.
Manually indented.
End of test.
For this test, I’m going to type in some stuff in a word document on the PC with headers and formatting and see if I can post it in here.
Followed by normal text.
Here is a bullet list:
Some red text.
Some bold text.
Some italic text.
Some manually indented text.
End of test.

Here is a bullet list:
Some red text.
Some bold text.
Some italic text.
Some manually indented text.
End of test.
That went “ok”. Everything came through except the red text. The second attempt was using the paragraph type “preformatted” but it had the same results.
As mush as I HATE HATE HATE HATE using my PC because it is so cumbersome and buggy, it seems that articles should be written in Word then copy/paste in here.
I suppose I could test from something like Apple “pages” and try pasting. Let’s try that as Test Case 6 tomorrow. Oh yeah, and I have test pasting in pics with the articles.
Still dinking around with the revision thing. I haven found a way to do an unpublished revision on an existing post. You can abandon it, but you don’t get the revision indicator and will ask of you want to restore when you edit it again, but that’s too risky.
So what is the exact procedure for creating the revision?
The procedure is to make a new post, then just click on the site button at the top next to the arrow. But as I mentioned, this doesn’t really work on an already published post.
Last test it seems that the font on a post gets changed when you do manual indentation.
So here is some indented text.
And now some un-indented. Hmm, looks fine now. Ignoring for now.
And some regular text.
With some bullets:
Note the bullets indented on their own, like the spacing on paragraphs. I can’t control either. Looks there, in the editor they are indented but in preview mode they aren’t.
But here something intentionally indented. I wonder why this font looks different?
What if I un-indent, does the funny font go away?
Some red Text!
What about after the red text?
I want to see if I can make revisions to a post prior to publishing it.
This is the first revision. No special text or pics.
There are not buttons or obvious ways to create a revision so I am going to abandon it and see if it saves it automatically.
So far so good. I have two other test cases, 2 and 3. 2 has already posted and 3 is still being revised.
Ok this is the final revision. Looks like it all worked as it should!
This is still linked to test case 1. This one should not show up right away as I want to also do revisions on it so I would have two different posts with revisions underway that had not published.
Ok this is a revision update. Going to publish this now.
I have another test post that is testing revisions. I am posting this one ahead of that one to see if it goes through.
We’ll call this one test case 2 and the other one test case 1.
I am editing this test case. I see now I have two revisions underway. I will see if I can update them and still not post.
